At Ristorante del Cavaliere, taste becomes one of the most immediate ways to come to know the Valnerina.
The kitchen follows the seasons, listens to the territory, and brings back to the plate the character of this part of Umbria: wild herbs, truffles from the surrounding area, oil, wine, local raw ingredients. Clear, recognizable flavors take shape in courses that do not seek effect, but memory.
From breakfast to aperitivo, through to dinner, the restaurant accompanies the different moments of the day with its presence deeply rooted in the place. Not a kitchen distant from Scheggino, but a way to taste the territory, savor genuine flavors, and rediscover the pleasure of the table.
Morning begins with a different rhythm at Torre del Nera. Light enters the village slowly, silence accompanies the awakening, and the day can begin with the simple pleasure of a good breakfast.
Served in the Sala del Cavaliere, breakfast offers a sweet and savory continental buffet, with a selection designed to satisfy different tastes and needs and calmly accompany the first moments of the day.
From Monday to Friday it is served from 8:00 am to 9:30 am; on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
Aperitif is an invitation to slow down and allow yourself a pause before dinner.
From 6:00 pm, the restaurant offers a selection of drinks, wines, and small bites to enjoy in the spaces of the village, accompanying one of the most pleasant moments of the day with simplicity and taste.
In the evening, in Scheggino, the village gathers in, the sunlight sets and gives way to night. It is at this moment that Ristorante del Cavaliere welcomes guests for dinner, every day except Tuesday.
The dining room welcomes guests into an intimate setting where the details and furnishings recall the Medieval style of the village. In the warmer season, the terrace offers the possibility to taste the restaurant’s dishes outdoors, where the gaze opens onto the green that surrounds Torre del Nera.
The wine list accompanies the kitchen with a selection designed to enter into dialogue with the flavors of the territory.
Whites, reds, and sparkling wines meet dishes that speak of herbs, truffle, oil, and tradition. Alongside Umbrian labels, the proposal also opens to other Italian expressions, leaving wine the task of completing the table and extending the story of the place.
