Nahar is a word that crossed centuries and languages before arriving here. It comes from an ancient Semitic root: in Hebrew, nahar indicates a watercourse, as does the Arabic nahr. A short, essential word that preserves the original meaning of river and of water in motion.
In Scheggino, this meaning finds a home. The Nera River crosses the village, draws its edges, guards its freshness. Calling Torre del Nera’s SPA Nahar means gathering this presence and carrying it into an experience that follows the very nature of water. In heat, in steam, in the pool, in the emotional shower, in the salt room, water changes form and temperature, yet continues to do what it has always done: lightens, envelops, purifies.
At Nahar SPA at Torre del Nera, you will find a space dedicated to well-being and body care. An intimate setting, designed to restore balance through natural elements: the water of the indoor pool, steam, salt, botanical essences.
Each treatment builds a progressive sensation of release, and every element enters into dialogue with the landscape of the Valnerina. The water recalls the Nera River and the springs of the territory, the botanicals bring natural ingredients back to light, while the Nahar cosmetic line is born from selected active ingredients linked to Umbria.

The indoor pool, with water between 28° and 32°, is the most fluid heart of the experience. The hydromassage and cervical waterfall help release tension, while the temperature of the water wraps the body in a soft and continuous quiet.
The sauna and Turkish bath accompany the body through two different forms of heat. Dry heat, steam, the skin opening, tension melting away: every passage helps let go of stiffness, tiredness, and heaviness.
The emotional shower alternates water, temperature, and different perceptions. After the heat of the sauna and Turkish bath, this passage restores freshness to the body and prepares you to continue the path with new energy.
The herbal tea corner and outdoor solarium complete the SPA experience. An herbal tea, a few minutes outdoors, the body slowly returning to its temperature: small gestures that make the path complete and natural.
Every setting is designed to welcome just a few guests at a time and preserve the quality of the experience. The path takes place in dedicated time slots, with limited capacity, in order to guarantee order, privacy, and continuity between the different moments of the SPA.
The Nahar cosmetic line was created exclusively for Torre del Nera with green formulas and selected active ingredients. At its center is the Nahar Complex, with ingredients deeply tied to the territory: saffron, Damask rose, dog rose, rosehip, and olive leaves.
Each element brings soothing, antioxidant, and regenerating properties: saffron illuminates and protects, olive leaves help counter skin oxidation, roses bring nourishment and delicacy. The result is a sensory cosmetic line, soft to the touch, characterized by floral fragrances.
Our formulas do not contain paraffin, petroleum derivatives, PEG, SLES, SLS, or parabens, giving life to a botanical complex that unites effectiveness and delicacy.
The massages are born from listening to the body and its needs. Some invite deep relaxation, others work on muscle tension, circulation, or the sensation of heaviness accumulated over time. The manual techniques alternate between slow, enveloping movements, deeper pressures, and targeted gestures, accompanied by selected oils and fragrances.
From anti-stress massages to hot stone rituals, from essential oils to lavender and warm olive oil, every massage restores a renewed perception of well-being.
The body treatments at Nahar SPA work on the skin through exfoliating and regenerating rituals enriched with naturally nourishing ingredients. Salts, honey, shea butter, olive oil, and micronized basil become the living matter of the treatment: they smooth, soften, hydrate, restore elasticity.
Every ritual restores well-being through light consistencies and textures, giving a sensation of deep care, in a path that brings softness and vitality back to the skin.
Facial treatments are dedicated to the care of the skin and the well-being of the features. Through delicate gestures and products formulated to respond to specific needs, they help hydrate, purify, soothe, and counter the signs of time, encouraging relaxation and improving the radiance of the complexion.
The rituals with Nahar Complex and Gua Sha accompany the skin on a path of deep regeneration. A moment of care that unites effectiveness and pleasure, leaving the face more relaxed, fresh, and harmonious.
Access to the SPA path is reserved for guests aged 16 and over, while massages and treatments are available from the age of 18. All services require reservation, and the wellness path takes place in dedicated time slots (10:30 am–1:00 pm, 2:30 pm–5:00 pm, and 5:00 pm–7:30 pm), welcoming up to a maximum of 14 guests at a time.
Upon arrival, the SPA kit is provided with bathrobe, towel, and slippers; the use of a swimsuit and swim cap is also required. The indoor pool is part of the wellness path and cannot be booked separately.
